Presentation of the book "Artificial Intelligence: Blessing or Curse?"

On 19 March, at 3pm, the Fr. Júlio Fragata SJ Library on the Braga Campus of the Universidade Católica will host another Biblioteca ComVida session, this time with the presentation of the book Artificial Intelligence: Blessing or Curse?, by Diogo Freitas.
The book takes the reader through an essential reflection on the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the present and the future, ensuring that this technology is here to stay. However, according to the author, the evolution of AI will not only bring benefits, but its harms may far outweigh its benefits.
The session will feature a presentation by António Machado and will be moderated by Franco Pereira.
