Tertulia "Understanding the Revolution" at the John Paul II University Library

On 29 April, at 6pm, the João Paulo II University Library is hosting a discussion on "Understanding the Revolution", as part of the documentary exhibition "The democratic revolution in Portugal: sources and research projects at the UCP".

The debate will include the participation of Maria Inácia Rezola, António Barreto, Mário Pinto, Henrique Mota and Peter Hanenberg, moderated by Paulo F. de Oliveira Fontes, dealing with research into Agrarian Reform and the Revolutionary Process (1974-1976) at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

The talk will explore topics such as the distribution of property, the organisation of the economy and political participation in the early days of democracy in Portugal, crossing perspectives from history, economics, sociology and political science
