UCP Libraries organise training cycle "Open Access: policies, where to publish and research data"

The Universidade Católica Libraries are organizing a training cycle, consisting of three initiatives, which will cover various topics including Open Access and the policies of funding bodies, how to publish with impact considering the Scopus and Web of Science reference bases, data management plans using the ARGOS platform, and even the Zenodo research data repository.

 

Open Access Policies | October 9, 15h00-16h30

  • Funders and their policies: FCT and EU;
  • How to comply: b-on transformative agreements, DOAJ and Sherpa/Romeo.

  • Metrics associated with scientific journals;
  • Selecting journals with impact in Scopus and Web of Science.

This training cycle will be open to all interested parties, with no prior registration or limit on the number of participants, just access the links for each session.

Católica promotes "Open Science" training cycle

The Libraries of the Universidade Católica, in collaboration with the Research and Innovation Office, will promote a training cycle focused on Open Science.

Over 4 sessions, the concept and principles of Open Science, Open Access and its policies, the ARGOS data management plan platform and the Zenodo research data repository, among other topics, will be addressed.

The first session, dedicated to the "Open Science" concept, takes place on April 14, followed by the theme "Open Access" on May 5.

"Research Data Management" and "Publication and scientific impact" are the main topics of the 3rd and 4th sessions, which will take place on June 16 and July 7 respectively.

This training cycle, entirely taught in Portuguese, is open to all, with no prior registration required or limit of participants. Simply access each session through the respective links.
