Student Unions

Universidade Católica Portuguesa has a structured system of student representation, with multiple independent student associations, recognized by the university in accordance with its Statutes (Article 58). 

These associations play a crucial role in representing students, facilitating communication with the university's Governing Bodies, and organizing events and student support initiatives-.

Each association represents the interests of students within its academic unit, contributing to a dynamic and engaging university environment.

Some of these associations are affiliated with national academic federations, strengthening their representation within Portugal’s higher education landscape.
