From all over the world to Católica: students start a new chapter in Lisbon

It's the first time Caterina, Federico and Daniela have visited Lisbon. Originally from Italy, they arrived in Portugal ready to take classes at the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics. They chose to study Economics at this faculty of Universidade Católica Portuguesa because, for them, "it's the best".

Lisbon's sunshine and good weather were also important factors when choosing the school. The decision to take a degree in economics is related to their desires for the future: Federico dreams of working in sports-related companies, while Daniela wants to follow the path of entrepreneurship and Caterina wants to focus on investments.

During the course, Federico, Caterina and Daniela hope to "meet lots of people", enjoy the city "with a bit of fun" and, of course, "learn to speak Portuguese".

During these welcome weeks for new students, Católica is filled with young people from a wide variety of countries, ready to meet their classmates and get to know the place that will be their second home for the next few years.

From August 28th to 31st, it was the turn of the bachelor's and master's students at the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics to receive a warm welcome and take part in social activities, such as a visit to the city of Lisbon, an arraial and countless moments of interaction between faculty, alumni and new students.

“I am honoured that you chose CATÓLICA-LISBON for your learning journey and professional advancement. There is no better investment than in your education. You are now a member of a top European business school, located in the heart of the beautiful, cosmopolitan and entrepreneurial city of Lisbon”, said the School's Dean, Filipe Santos, welcoming students from more than 40 nationalities on August 29th.
