Católica among the 100 Best Universities in the World in the Best "Golden Age" Universities Ranking of THE

The Universidade Católica Portuguesa was distinguished as the 61st university in the world among universities established more than 50 years ago and less than 80 years ago, according to the most recent edition of the Best "Golden Age" Universities Ranking of 2020, having risen 40 positions compared to the previous year.

Católica is the only Portuguese university present in this Ranking among universities established in education for more than 50 years and less than 80 years.

In the 2020 version of the Ranking Best "Golden Age" Universities, the Universidade Católica Portuguesa was ranked 61st. In the Ranking Best "Golden Age" Universities 2019 was ranked in the 101-150 interval. It is the only national representative present in this segmentation by intervals of years of existence.

The Best "Golden Age" Universities Ranking applies the same methodology as THE World University Rankings and evaluates institutions of Higher Education according to their performance in five dimensions: Teaching, Research, Quotes, knowledge transfer, international perspectives for universities with more than 50 and less than 80 years of existence in education.

Once again, Católica sees its international position highlighted.
