Católica supports alumna who is a member of the Portuguese equestrian team at the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020

The UCP community is proud of the performance of its alumna Maria Caetano in the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020.

Maria Caetano, former student and assistant of the Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics (CLSBE), is part of the Portuguese equestrian team, in collective, and qualified last Sunday (July 25) for the final of the Equestrian Teaching discipline.

The Portuguese team is in the final, thanks to Maria Caetano, Rodrigo Torres and João Miguel Torrão, who achieved one of the eight places, with a mark of 68.89.

Maria Caetano, with the Lusitano horse Fenix de Tineo, finished, on Sunday, in 4th place in Group B, with 70.311 points.

With this excellent performance, the Portuguese team ensured the qualification for the Grand Prix Special by teams, scheduled for Tuesday, (July 27) from 5:00 p.m. local time (9:00 a.m. in Lisbon), one day before the individual final.
