Católica's President visits Catholic University of America in Washington to discuss academic cooperation between the two universities

The President of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Isabel Capeloa Gil, visited the Catholic University of America (CUA) in Washington, USA, on May 11.

During the visit, the President discussed with the CUA's leaders the possibility of developing joint programs and close collaboration between the two higher education institutions.

The creation of a Visiting Professorship for Católica faculty members at the Catholic University of America was under discussion during this visit.

The CUA began its academic activity in 1889 and today has 12 schools and more than 5,000 students. Peter Kilpatrick has been President of this university since 2022.
