Ciência-UCP | Universidade Católica Portuguesa’s Platform for Science Official Launch

Universidade Católica Portuguesa is hosting an online event on December 15th, at 3.30 pm, to launch Ciência-UCP Website.

The Ciência-UCP platform is a national tool, which enables the systematic aggregation of all information related to research.

Characterised by its high level of interoperability and alignment with the best practices that define CRIS (Current Research Information System), it contemplates, in an integral manner, all the information management needs arising from the activity of the Academic Units and Research Centres of the UCP. Both teachers and researchers find in Ciência-UCP a facilitating tool for the management and presentation of their profiles.

Operating since February 2020, Ciência-UCP is now publicly presented, in a moment of renewed commitment around this structural project of the university.

For Peter Hanenberg, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, "by making this platform public, Universidade Católica Portuguesa is showcasing, in all its dimensions, its best practices in research and collaboration network at a national and international level, and, above all, operating on the assumption that this launch is not an end in itself, but the beginning of a new stage of a process that, by nature, will never be finished: the ongoing search for knowledge".

Watch the public presentation of the Ciência-UCP platform, on December 15, at 3.30 p.m., through this link.
