Escola das Artes launches Post Graduation in Curatorship for 2020/2021

The post-graduation in curatorship is one of the new areas of training at the School of Arts in the school year 2020/2021, for which applications are already being accepted.

This new training, of theoretical and practical orientation, intends to stimulate and deepen theoretical and professional knowledge in the areas of research and development of art curatorship projects, promoting the development of a critical discourse and the practical ability to prepare, assemble and communicate an exhibition.

With a teaching marked by a strong presence and collaboration of highly recognized curators in the national and international artistic environment, as well as artists, directors and international experts in the areas of contemporary art and cinema (present at the School of Arts in the context of Exhibitions, Artist Residencies, Seminars and Conferences or Summer School) and a broad partnership with the Serralves Foundation, we will prepare future curators, critics and art researchers who wish to work in museums, galleries, centers and independent spaces, media and projects dedicated to contemporary art.
