GeoSat is new Insure.Hub member

GeoSat is the most recent member of INSURE.hub - Innovation in Sustainability and Regeneration Hub, joining more than 50 entities that integrate this initiative of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and Planetiers New Generation. Through the signing of the memorandum of understanding, the institutions involved commit to work together on the themes of sustainability and regeneration.

GeoSat is a geoinformation company that, thanks to its own satellites and together with its partners, provides high quality images and analysis to obtain high-impact information resulting in better decision-making.

Launched in October 2021, in a public event, INSURE.hub has a strategy to accompany innovation in academia and implement projects in the areas of sustainability and regeneration and is already fulfilling its major objective: to create a vibrant national and international ecosystem of transdisciplinary knowledge of circular, sustainable and regenerative scope.

The signing of the memorandum of understanding took place on May 18th, in the presence of Isabel Braga da Cruz, Pro-Rector of Universidade Católica, João Pinto, vice-president of Porto Regional Centre, and Sónia Monteiro, director of GeoSat.

More than 50 entities are already associated to this initiative that results from the mobilisation of the Catholic University of Portugal, in Porto, through its Faculties - Católica Porto Business School and School of Biotechnology - and Planetiers New Generation, together with national and international organisations that are thought leaders and transformation agents for Sustainability and Regeneration.
