The Letter film opens today

The Letter, a film that tells the story of the Encyclical Laudato si' collects testimonies from various climate activists and has Pope Francis himself as the main star.

In the words of the Vice-Rector, Pe. José Manuel Pereira de Almeida: "The Universidade Católica Portuguesa joins in this way the Laudato si' Movement at the conclusion of the ecumenical initiative of the "Time of Creation" (which ran from September 1, the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation, to October 4, the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi) with the release of the film The Letter. I hope you enjoy it! And may it be a beautiful occasion of dialogue for all".

The screening will be broadcast on the youtube channel today at 7.30pm

Universidade Católica Portuguesa organised the Christmas Solidarity Campaign "The Joy of Giving", involving 300 volunteers at its headquarters and at its three campuses in Porto, Braga and Viseu.
