Professor Mónica Dias takes part in the Sant Jordi 2025 event in Lisbon
On 23 April, the Palácio Galveias Library in Lisbon hosted the Sant Jordi 2025 event, a cultural celebration dating back to the legend of the knight Sant Jordi and the dragon.
This event had the special participation of Professor Mónica Dias, Director of the Institute of Political Studies at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP), in the dialogue entitled ‘Literature and Peace’. Also taking part in the dialogue were Professor Isabel Soler, essayist and professor of Portuguese Philology at the University of Barcelona (UB), and Anna Mora, cellist and musicologist. The session was moderated by Lusa journalist Ana Haderer.
The event culminated in a concert by cellist Daniel Claret.

CIEP researchers take part in "The Living Laudato Si' in Europe" project
Researchers from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP), in collaboration with the Research Centre of the Institute of Political Studies (CIEP) and the project "The Living Laudato Si' in Europe" of the European Laudato Si' Alliance (ELSiA), have played an important role in the development and presentation of a report highlighting the impact of the Encyclical Laudato Si' in Europe.
