Professor at Universidade Católica joins literary prize jury
The 28th edition of the DST Literature Grand Prize, dedicated to prose books published between 2021 and 2022, took place on 20 June and counted with the participation of Cândido Oliveira Martins, professor at the Braga Regional Centre of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, as member of the jury.
The professor who teaches in the courses of Portuguese Studies and Communication Sciences integrated the jury of this contest together with Carlos Mendes de Sousa, under the presidency of the writer Lídia Jorge. By unanimity, they awarded the winning work "O Regresso de Júlia Mann a Paraty" by Teolinda Gersão.
The monetary value of the prize corresponds to 15.000,00€ for the author of the elected book and the award ceremony will be held on June 30th, at Theatro Circo, Braga, and will include a concert of the project Os Poetas, by Rodrigo Leão and Gabriel Gomes.
