Transform4Europe's new podcast discusses the New World Order

United States of America? Europe? China?
The latest episode of the Transform4Europe alliance's “Reach Out” podcast, co-produced with the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, features a debate on the changing geopolitical landscape predicted for 2025.

In this conversation, Emilija Pundziute-Gallois, from the Department of Political Science, Viktoras Bachmetjevas, from the Department of Philosophy, and Linas Didvalis, from the Centre for Asian Studies at Vytautas Magnus University, analyse the implications of the policies of the new US administration, particularly with regard to Russia and China.

The experts at Vytautas Magnus University discuss whether the US is fundamentally changing its foreign policy or whether it is just making rhetorical gestures. The discussion explores the potential realignments of the world order, including the possibility of a multipolar world with distinct spheres of influence.

Europe's strategic role and political responses to these potential changes, especially with regard to China, are central to the discussion. Ultimately, the podcast aims to analyse the evolution of power dynamics and its impact on international relations.
