Universidade Católica celebrates Faculty of Theology's National Day

Faculty of Theology's National Day brought together students, professors, collaborators, and researchers from Braga, Lisbon, and Porto. The event that took place on December 13th at Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto featured a conference given by Alberto Castro, professor at Católica Porto Business School, on The challenges of economics to theological reflection in the Carvalho Guerra Auditorium, and the diploma awarding ceremony to the bachelors in Theology and Religious Sciences and to the masters in Theology. The session was attended by Isabel Vasconcelos, vice-rector of UCP, Isabel Braga da Cruz, pro-rector of UCP, Ana Jorge, director of the Faculty of Theology, Abel Canavarro, vice-director of the Faculty of Theology, and D. Manuel Linda, Bishop of Porto.

The afternoon included a visit to the Serralves Foundation and the celebration of the Eucharist in São João da Foz do Douro church, presided over by the Bishop of Porto, D. Manuel Linda.
