Universidade Católica Portuguesa joins Movimento Transforma Portugal

The Universidade Católica Portuguesa has joined the Movimento Transforma Portugal (MTP), a Movement that aims to mobilize and support higher education students in developing volunteer responses and civic intervention focused on the problems generated, namely, by the Covid-19 pandemic.

This movement, which counts on the support of several entities, is developed along three main axes: Platform for Volunteering and Civic Intervention (https://www.transformaportugal.pt), Civic Micro-entrepreneurship, and training actions for higher education students, namely for socially useful work, by the HEIs, with the support of the IEFP.

Besides these three fundamental features, the MTP also intends to ensure the certification of volunteer activities, by issuing a social CV to each participating student.

The initiative was also supported by Student Associations of Universidade Católica.
