Universidade Católica Portuguesa joins the United Nations Global Compact

Universidade Católica Portuguesa announces its integration in the United Nations Global Compact Network, a network of companies and organizations around the world working to fulfill the Sustainable Development Agenda in accordance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDOs).

Positioning itself in the Times Higher Education - THE - ranking as the best Portuguese university for the second consecutive year, the Catholic University, wants to be a leader by example in the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Agenda with its academic community, as well as with all the stakeholders with which it contacts.

In order to fulfill this agenda within the University, the Center for Responsible Business and Leadership (CRB) of CATÓLICA-LISBON, will be the entity responsible for the operationalization of this partnership, committing itself, in cooperation with the Rectory, to bring ODS to the center of the strategy of the University and its partners.

This is a new step in the strategy of Universidade Católica and the Catholic Lisbon School of Business & Economics to be a worldwide reference in the generation of research and reference knowledge, with a strong impact on society, capable of promoting distinctive value to its students, partners and companies, with which it collaborates to build a society with more impact.
