Universidade Católica Portuguesa participates in the Seminar "Lights and shadows of a Process of institutionalization of Service-Learning", promoted by UNISERVITATE

The Universidade Católica Portuguesa participated in the Seminar "Lights and shadows of a process of institutionalization of Service-Learning", which took place on January 30-31 at the Universidad de Deusto, Bilbao.

This meeting, promoted by UNISERVITATE, integrated the vision of the different agents involved in this methodology: students, teachers and community partners, and was attended by several members of the management and administrative teams of universities such as Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, St. Mary´s University, Universidad de Deusto, Pontíficia Universidad Católica de Chile and Universidade Católica Portuguesa. 

The Vice-Rector Professor Isabel Vasconcelos and Professor Luísa Mota Ribeiro presented a Communication on the Institutionalization Process of the Service-Learning Methodology in the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Rita Paiva e Pona, Advisor to the Rectory for Social Responsibility and Coordinator of the Social Responsibility Office and Carmo Themudo, Coordinator of the Unit for the Integral Development of the Person of the Porto Regional Centre, as well as Professors Cristina Marques Vieira and Liliana Braguez, from the School of Nursing of the Institute of Health Sciences, in Lisbon, were also present.
