Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto and SEAL Group united in the development of companies and executives
SEAL Group and the Porto Regional Center of Universidade Católica Portuguesa have formalized a collaboration protocol to strengthen ties between the two institutions.
Isabel Braga da Cruz, Pro-Rector of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, João Pinto, Director of Católica Porto Business School, and Sérgio Almeida, Founder and CEO of SEAL Group, attended the signing ceremony. This agreement reflects a joint commitment to promote innovative initiatives to develop the skills of executives and companies aligned with the missions of both entities, with a special focus on human capital and sustainability.
Among the outlined goals, the promotion of advanced training programs for companies and executives, support for organizations, development of research projects, and internationalization stand out. Furthermore, the protocol provides for concrete actions within the scope of the Global Healthcare Forum, reinforcing the positioning of institutions in the healthcare sector and their presence in Insure.Hub, an initiative in regeneration and sustainability. SEAL also joins the Corporate Club of the Católica Porto Business School, which guarantees an active role in a platform of excellence dedicated to knowledge transfer, innovation, and employability.
For Isabel Braga da Cruz, Pro-rector of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, this protocol presupposes the “promotion of internships iniciatives, support for students, training programs, job offers, scholarships and prizes, research projects and other interventions that can contribute to the activity of each entity, to be triggered by the initiative of Universidade Católica and each of the Faculties operating in Porto or by the SEAL Group.”
Sérgio Almeida, founder of SEAL Group and participant in several initiatives at Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto, highlighted the importance of this partnership: "We are building a solid foundation based on common values and purposes to create valuable projects that will not only benefit our organizations but society as a whole."
With this protocol, the entities commit to deepening synergies between the academic and business sectors, exploring new opportunities for collaboration, and developing future projects.
