Women Entrepreneurs@Católica Lisbon

Applications are open for We@Católica Lisbon's consultancy programme until August 31, aimed at women entrepreneurs and their companies.

The Women Entrepreneurs@Católica Lisbon Programme is the programme of the CEA (Centre for Applied Studies) and the Universidade Católica Portuguesa that aims to support female entrepreneurship. It is a programme open to all, which aims to tackle economic inequality between genders. The aim is to empower women and companies managed by them with essential management tools in their daily lives.

The program has, for now, 2 major pillars of action:

The first consists in training and materializes in the realization of free thematic workshops. It is intended that these workshops have a strong practical component, since the main objective is that the participants learn something very concrete that is useful to them and can put it into practice immediately. In the last edition of Workshops about 200 women attended these sessions.

The second pillar is the submission of CONSULTANT PROJECTS.

The Consultancy Program intends to support entrepreneurs by offering free consultancy projects carried out by students and guided by professors of the University. Thus, all women who wholly or partially own a business are eligible to apply for projects with areas such as the development of a Business Plan, definition of an internationalization strategy, definition of a Marketing Plan, development of a digital communication strategy or the launch of a new product.

Each year there are 2 application phases for these projects. The projects, once identified and selected, are then developed over a period of three and a half months.

For the first phase, applications will be accepted until August 31 (23h59). The results of the selection will be announced by September 19 and the projects will run from September to December 2020.
