The João Paulo II University Library is organising the exhibition "Manuscript in the Spotlight | Camões - 500 years", from 11 June to 14 August.

The exhibition features a manuscript by Manuel Severim de Faria, from the late 16th or early 17th century.

The D. José Pedro da Silva Library is organising the exhibition Macau in Contrasts (2010-2018), a photographic exhibition by researcher and anthropologist Marisa C. Gaspar (ISEG-ULisboa), which will be inaugurated on January 20 at 2:30 p.m. and will remain on display in the Library building until April 4.

Consisting of 32 photographs, this exhibition is part of a vast photographic collection that the author gathered in Macau during her fieldwork between 2010 and 2018 as part of her PhD research and, at a more current stage, in the context of her post-doctoral project.

Among the works on display, “The Faith of Men” stands out, as it's the winning photograph of the International Institute of Macau's prize of December 2023.

Admission is free, and the exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday during the Library's opening hours (8.30 am-1.00 pm / 1.30 pm-6.30 pm).
