UCP4SUCCESS Scholarships
The UCP4SUCCESS Scholarships aim to encourage self-sufficiency and reward student effort by awarding merit scholarships to students enrolled in the 1st year for the first time who show the greatest academic progress, i.e. who show, at each application stage, the greatest increase in their course average compared to their application grade for entry to the course in which they are enrolled at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
FAQs
Students enrolled in the 1st year for the first time, under the general access regime;
Have passed a minimum of 30 ECTS relating to the curricular units of the semester to which the application refers, without having taken appeal and/or improvement exams.
- Merit (70%): differential between the UCP entrance grade and the final average for the semester you are applying for. Differentials are calculated on the basis of standardised grades in relation to the course average (calculated by the Quality System Team (SQ) at Universidade Católica Portuguesa).
- Socio-economic status (30%): (analysed by Católica's Social Action offices).
Each UCP4SUCCESS scholarship has a maximum value of €2,245.
1st application period:
- until 16 June 2025 (relating to academic results obtained in the 1st semester of 2024/2025).
2nd application period:
- 17 June and 31 July 2025 (relating to academic results obtained in the 2nd semester of 2024/2025).
