4th International Conference on Philosophy of Mind

The Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences and the Centre for Philosophy and Humanistic Studies are organising from 6 to 8 March the 4th International Conference on Philosophy of Mind under the theme: "The 4E's [Embodied, Embedded, Enactive, Extended] Approach to Mind/Brain".

The Conference will address issues related to approaches that assume that our mind - in general - is determined by 4 fundamental characteristics: corporeal (embodied) in relation to our senses and relationship with physical reality; embodied in relation to the social and cultural context; enactive, through the active participation of the subject in the environment; extended through tools, devices, other subjects.
