The DOTDeaf project, led by Professor Rosalind Herman and Dr. Joanna Hoskin at the City, University of London, is an Erasmus+ funded project involving several countries: United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal and Brazil. The main objective of the project is to provide learning opportunities for a specific group of deaf adults, specialists in deaf language - sign language - such as LGP teachers; through the creation of an online training.

On May 15, an online workshop will be held with the theme "Language Therapy in LGP". This workshop aims to understand how professionals working with deaf people deal with atypical language development in deaf children. The focus will be on the practices carried out by LGP teachers in detecting and intervening with deaf children who present an atypical development of LGP, and how they articulate with other professionals (psychologists and speech therapists).

Registration is subject to a limit of 25 participants with priority given to LGP teachers, psychologists and speech therapists working with deaf people.

Registration

The workshop will be held online (ZOOM platform) and in LGP with interpretation into Portuguese.
