International Mother Language Day

As part of the Transform4Europe Alliance, Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) is celebrating International Mother Language Day with an online event to promote cultural and linguistic diversity on February 21.

The interactive session includes a game in which all VMU students showcase their mother tongues through monologues, conversations, or short performances. Participants from across the Transform4Europe alliance are invited to join in the fun and test their language skills by identifying the languages presented.

Winners will receive prizes and all participants will be able to learn new languages and celebrate multilingualism.
