UCP Libraries, in collaboration with the Research and Innovation Office, will promote a training cycle focused on Open Science.
The 1st session, dedicated to the theme "Open Science", aims to introduce the definition of Open Science, identify its pillars, learn about its projects and platforms, and understand the concept of Responsibility in Research and Innovation.
This training cycle will be open to all interested parties, with no prior registration needed or limit of participants. The links for each session will be made available on the UCP Portal and the UCP Libraries Training Portal.
All sessions will be held in Portuguese.

This session aims to explore the concept of Open Access as well as present the FCT and the European Commission’s policies, identify journals that comply with Open Access policies, recognize predatory publishers, and introduce platforms related to the dissemination of scientific publications.

This session aims to present the FAIR principles, provide insights on good practices for the development of Data Management Plans and introduce Research Data Repositories.
Publishing and Scientific Impact | July 7 | 2:30 – 4:00 pm | Link
This session aims to explore the main metrics of scientific publication, identify Open Access journals, provide good practices for the development of scientific production, and present helpful techniques for the dissemination of scientific production.
