Seminar "Neurovascular interactions in spinal cord injury"

The Católica Medical School is organising the seminar ‘Neurovascular interactions in spinal cord injury’, with a presentation by Ester Coutinho and the participation of Isaura Martins, on 10 April at 12.30pm.

Isaura Martins has a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Coimbra, where she also did her Master looking at the neuroprotective role of ghrelin and leptin in hippocampal neurons. Then she later received her PhD in Neuroscience from University of Manchester, UK in 2015 where she focused on blood brain barrier and high-fat diets in a triple animal model of Alzheimer´s disease.
