José Cândido Oliveira Martins guest of the French and German channel ARTE

José Cândido Oliveira Martins, Associate Professor at Faculdade de Filosofia e Ciências Sociais of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, was invited by the French and German TV channel ARTE to participate in a documentary about José Saramago and his book "Journey to Portugal".

Combining Literature, Culture and Tourism, the documentary intends to invite travelers from the center of Europe to get to know the North of Portugal, including the city of Braga and its rich History.

Directed by Miri Paturel, this documentary shows images of downtown Braga and brings the CRBr teacher's perception of the Minho city.

The Professor also discusses the social attitude of the author José Saramago and how this influenced his writing.
