On 28 September, Fr Bruno Nobre was sworn in as Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences and Raquel Matos was reappointed as Dean of the Faculty of Education and Psychology.

Ana Paula Pinto, a lecturer at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences (FFCS) of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP), Braga Regional Centre, has won the 4th edition of the João Augusto d'Ornelas Literary Prize.

Vítor Lopes is 31 years old, from Guimarães and studied Communication Sciences between 2011 and 2014 at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Braga Regional Centre of the Universidade Católica. On November 25, the Chapter Room of the Tibães Monastery hosted the 2nd extension of the Virtues Walk: Person, Heritage and Virtue, under the theme "The Art of the Word".
