UCP2 Mental Health

UCP2 Mental Health is an integrated system of mental health and well-being activities and services for Católica students.

Approved within the framework of the Higher Education Mental Health Promotion Program of the Directorate-General for Higher Education, this system spans all Católica campi and aims to promote student well-being.

Currently under development and set to expand over the next two years (until September 2026), this system is built on three key pillars – Promotion & Prevention, Psychological Support, and Referral– with activities and services gradually being introduced.

Five Key Ideas of UCP2 Mental Health

Aim to empower students in self-care, psychological first aid, and the early identification of mental health problems.

Aim to enhance the efficiency of psychological support by defining the scope of action, integrating mental health services at Católica, standardizing procedures, developing the UCP2 Mental Health 24h digital platform, and creating a network of partnerships/protocols and agreements with the public and private health institutions.

Designed for Students, with Students: The UCP Students’ Voices Advisory Panel ensures students actively contribute to shaping services and activities.

It is centered on the monitor and evaluate mental health, through a Monitoring & Evaluation team responsible, for example, for studying the mental health mapping of students ‘How is your mental health?’.

It is integrated with other services at Católica. The UCP 2 Mental Health will collaborate with various services, departments, activities, or projects, such as UCP4SUCCESS.
