PROSPER, our Center of Economics for Prosperity celebrates its 1st anniversary

The goal of the Center is to gather a community of faculty, researchers and students to develop rigorous knowledge on economic policy and analysis to contribute to societal development and human prosperity.

The Center has 8 team members and is growing, with new funding, new research projects, several published papers and reports on topics such as employment, poverty and inequality, and the supervision of master theses that have received outstanding grades (20, 20, 19).

Prof. Joana Silva, the academic director of our MSc in Economics, leads PROSPER and has brough to CATÓLICA-LISBON more than 15 years of experience as a Senior Economist in the World Bank.
