Universidade Católica Editora launches book dedicated to "Pandemic Stories

The Universidade Católica Editora launched the book "Stories in Pandemic - resilience and integral education", on December 7, with the support of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, which presents an investigation by Centro de Estudos dos Povos e Culturas de Expressão Portuguesa (CEPCEP),in collaboration with the Gulbenkian Knowledge Academies.

This book is the result of a multiple case study - focusing on 11 Gulbenkian Knowledge Academies - carried out by CEPCEP researchers Catarina Burnay, Patrícia Dias e Rodrigo Queiroz e Melo.

This study explores the experience of these academies in developing various work projects during the confinements determined by the Covid-19 pandemic, the challenges and learning as well as its relevance to the holistic education of children and young people.

The Universidade Católica Editora launched, on the 16th of December, the book "Em Português: Falar, Viver e Pensar no Século XXI", in a face-to-face session in Lisbon and online for all Portuguese speaking countries, from Timor to Brazil.
