Women Entrepreneurship Award: Católica Lisbon celebrates and debates female entrepreneurship
Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics gathers to celebrate women entrepreneurs, on November 24th. "Female entrepreneurship - Where are we?" is the topic under discussion at the event where the Women Entrepreneurship Award (WEA) will be delivered.
Filipe Santos, Dean of CATÓLICA-LISBON, will start the event, followed by a presentation on the WEA by Céline Abecassis-Moedas, Director of Executive Education at CATÓLICA-LISBON.
The winners of the last three editions of the WEA, Joana Rafael, Marta Palmeiro, Joana Paiva and Sónia Ferreira, will gather in a round table to discuss the theme "Female Entrepreneurship, where are we?".
Isabel Capeloa Gil, Rector of UCP, will close the event after the presentation of the awards for the 2020 and 2021 editions. The session will take place in a hybrid format, starting at 6pm, and requires prior registration.
The Women Entrepreneurship Award is promoted by the Center for Technological Innovation & Entrepreneurship, of CATÓLICA-LISBON, and aim to recognize women entrepreneurs with projects created in Portugal that stand out for their vision and contribution to the future.
The winners of this prize have access to an Advanced Program of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management, or an equivalent program, taught at CATÓLICA-LISBON, as well as personalised media training and mentoring with one of the jury members.
