CLIL | Católica Learning Innovation Lab was created in 2021 at Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) to promote and encourage Pedagogical Innovation in UCP Regional Centres.
By adopting an interdisciplinary perspective, the laboratory seeks to identify, develop and test new teaching and learning approaches. For this, it involves the collaboration of faculty, researchers, students, and partners from business and civil society.
The laboratory is aligned with the principles of inclusive education and student-centered learning. It is committed to advancing faculty professional growth to ensure the effectiveness of teaching and learning at UCP.
CLIL aims to design the education of the future, by supporting UCP students in developing new transferable competences for a successful insertion in the labor market and within the community.
Mission
To identify and to test innovative pedagogical approaches, by focusing on interdisciplinary collaboration and creating synergies between UCP academic community (faculty, researchers, and students) and partners (business and civil society).
