CECC Researcher publishes in Women in Iberian Filmic Culture
The researcher of CECC, Professor Adriana Martins, published an article entitled Murmuring Colonial Ghosts in Margarida Cardoso's Filmography, in the book Women in Iberian Filmic Culture. A Feminist Approach to the Cinemas of Portugal and Spain, organized by Elena Cordero-Hoyo and Begoña Soto Vásquez.
Focusing on cinema in Portugal and Spain, this collection gathers research on women and their status in relation to Iberian film culture. Through a review of feminist theory and new accounts of the history of cinema, it contributes to expand the debate and encourages comparison between Iberian cinemas and the visual culture of different regions.
