Exhibition curated by Prof. Jorge Santos Alves elected Best Temporary Exhibition of 2019

The exhibition Um Rei e Três Imperadores. Portugal, a China e Macau no tempo de D. João V, which was on display at the São Roque Museum, in Lisbon, until March 2020, was elected Best Temporary Exhibition of 2019 in Portugal, by the Portuguese Museology Association.

The exhibition, intended to mark simultaneously "the 40th anniversary of the restoration of diplomatic relations between Portugal and China, the 20th anniversary of the transfer of powers in Macau and the 450th anniversary of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Macau", was curated by Professor Jorge Santos Alves, professor at FCH and coordinator of the Institute of Asian Studies.
