Students from the Viseu Regional Centre visit APPACDM in Viseu

Students of the 2nd year of the Bachelor's Degree in Management of the Viseu Regional Centre, Universidade Católica, visited the Associação Portuguesa e Pais e Amigos do Cidadão Deficiente Mental de Viseu (APPACDM), on 5 January, as part of the Service-Learning Project - InoDar: A tool to Help and of the course unit "Social Psychology".

During the visit, students came into contact with collaborators and beneficiaries of the institution, learned about their history, the different social responses, identified the importance of professional training and observed a high quality service for the well-being of people with disabilities.

Since July 2019, the APPACDM of Viseu has been developing a new mediation service of integration and support for inclusion in the labour market, aimed at people who are in a situation of social vulnerability, called the INCORPORA Centre.
